Lima

I really want to make some good sketches while traveling this year. So far the travel plan is Berlin, Germany. So better practice sketching street views now. I took some photos when I was in Peru last year and that's a starting point. Today's sketch is part of a mansion from outside on a Lima street. The striking red wall is so bold.

I've been infatuated with Moleskine products. My friend Aohua sent me some Moleskine pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a great book on some Moleskine users and their journals/sketches. Life is so special with Moleskine!

My coworker Ryan is leaving the company so I made a card for him. He's a computer genius and often is multitasking on multiple screens.

My Brother is a Good Chef

My brother enjoys food and is a great chef--every meal has be to well-cooked, nicely presented and properly served!

Melancholia

Melancholia the movie is quite a perplexing piece. Or in another word, I don't quite relate to the neurotic sisters in the last days before the clash between Melancholia and the Earth, esp. after the brouhaha of the Mayan end of world prediction.

New Blazer

Got a new blazer yesterday. It's quite a different style from what I've been comfortable with. But I decided to make a little change in the new year.

Pina

Saw Pina today, a movie in the memory of the modern dancer Pina Bausch. Was having hard time understanding the modern dancing movies but it was a visual treat.
